Volunteer with Prescott Creeks

Prescott Creeks is supported by a passionate community of volunteers. We couldn’t do it without them. Celebrate the watershed and its many creeks and lakes by volunteering and lending a hand. Contributing your time to one of the many exciting creek-related projects can be satisfying and helps achieve healthy watersheds and clean waters in central Arizona.

Some of the many benefits you can receive by volunteering include:
  • Improve the quality of life of members in the community.
  • Do something meaningful and enjoyable.
  • Support something in which you believe.
  • Have fun.
  • Explore new career options and network with others.
  • Fulfill service requirements of club, school, church, etc.
  • Make new friends and affiliations.
  • Develop and grow personally while cultivating new interests.

Additionally, volunteers with Prescott Creeks have access to any of our educational materials necessary to fulfill their duties, will receive training in the operation of any equipment necessary in their volunteer positions, and have access to the Prescott Creeks staff if any questions or concerns arise.

Prescott Creeks has many volunteer opportunities. They range from outside work such as restoration activities, water quality monitoring, project maintenance, trail work, and invasive plant control, to inside work such as serving on the Prescott Creeks Board of Directors, taking an active role in one of several standing committees (Governance, Resource Development, Finance, Nominating, and Events), assisting staff in the office, and helping us keep our website and social media sites up to date.

If you have expertise or skills in an area we haven’t listed here, please contact us. We would love to hear about it and explore ideas.
