Volunteer Spotlight

We would like to recognize our lovely, dedicated, and skilled volunteer office staff: Mary Jo Dhein, Annie Resnick, Cindy Vaughn, and Chris Brooks. Collectively they have served about 1,200 hours over the past four and a half years (14 years combined with a range of 2.5-4.5 years each). They’ve helped in a variety of capacities – data entry (lots of data entry), filing, research, coordinating outreach materials, press book upkeep, herbarium restoration, and even chair building! Their assistance assures the database is in good shape, so you receive important and timely information, and data is readily available for reports, grant proposals, education, and advocacy. They are involved in every step of the Granite Creek Cleanup – processing donations, distributing flyers, and preparing volunteer materials for the event. They’ve even helped clean up the creeks!

Mary Jo’s scrumptious baked goods can be a great morale-boost for anyone lucky enough to be around the office at the just-right moment. Prescott Creeks thanks them each for their years of service, positive energy, hard work, and upbeat office attitudes. Their work is largely behind the scenes but essential to achieving healthy watersheds and clean waters – Thank you!
