If you come prepared to be safe and relax, your trip to the creeks around Prescott can be great fun.

Be sure to bring at least the following:

Sunscreen
At least 1 quart of water
Comfortable walking shoes or boots
Insect repellent
Wide-brimmed hat
Rain-gear

Depending on your interests and/or talents, a camera, a pair of binoculars, or any number of field guides can enrich a creek-side visit.

Spring and Autumn are the best times to visit our creeks. During winter visits snow and ice along the stream can make for a very precarious and slippery trail. Please use caution.
